The Exterior Maintenance Department (DME) is responsible for the maintenance of the university assets and the conservation of green areas, gardens, and landscaping at UFSC. Among the Department’s responsibilities are:

• coordinate and carry out activities related to the maintenance and conservation of the university’s assets;
• coordinate and perform maintenance of movable assets, covering all university areas and facilities under UFSC’s responsibility or administration;
• preserve and maintain the university’s green areas, gardens and landscaping.
